View over the Northern part of the Great Sand Dunes National Park:NorthernSandDunesNPAlong T Road approaching Crestone, with the majestic Sangre de Cristo mountains.   Some years the snow spot doesn’t make it, but this year, thanks to the record snow in May, it’s a little bigger than usual, with tiny specs in other areas left as well:

LastSnowSpotSept2_2015Autumn weather is here with chilly nights and gorgeous days.  Insects are practically gone (it’s all relative…) and thunderstorms are waning in frequency.   Soon the aspen will turn colorful and that’s about as lovely as it gets here.  ;-)
