In telecommunications, radio silence is “a status in which all fixed or mobile radio stations in an area are asked to stop transmitting for safety or security reasons.“
In the case of this blog, all tags were deleted (permanently) and all pages and posts were taken down (made ‘private’) for the duration.
SINCE EARLY December 2013, there has been nothing else to see here than this:
Meanwhile, the static pages are back up. The DISCLAIMER has been updated. And most posts have been returned to visibility as well. Whether blogging will resume as well is unknown at the moment.
Who or what prompted the disappearance of over two years of blogging?
That is actually not answerable yet. But it was at Mount Fuji in Japan, when a hunch became so strong that I acted on it: “Deactivate Facebook, Twitter and vanish the Blog, now, immediately.” Trusting intuition more and more, even when it makes little sense, I did just that. It felt strangely refreshing and energetically helpful.
A handful of people emailed me with variations of, “Is everything okay?”
