A conference (watch below) in New York City yesterday October 8, 2013, similar to a presentation in July 2013, also put on by the Samuel Lawrence Foundation, included a panel of speakers that included:

  • Nato Kan, Japanese Prime Minister during Fukushima meltdowns in 2011
  • Dr. Gregory Jaczko, former Chairman of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC),
  • Peter Bradford, former NRC Commissioner
  • Arnie Gundersen, nuclear engineer

Members of the panel address various issues of the history and current situation of the ongoing nuclear crisis at the Fukushima-Daiici nuclear power plant site.   Concerns regarding Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant, now operating with an expired license in Buchanan, New York, as well as reflections on the madness of nuclear energy production in general are shared.   http://new.livestream.com/accounts/5618637/events/2441546  or click image to watch at source:
