Remember the Hedgehog? He’s gone missing…

Remember Hedgehog?   Before today, I last heard from the adventurous stuffed animal way back in June, and relayed his latest adventure then in “Hedgehodge Trip (3/5): Visions of Humans Living in Harmony with Nature + Bluecifer’s Favorite Song! (Denver Airport Awesomeness)“, which was the follow-up on “An Elephant in the Denver Airport!“ (with an Elephant’s analysis of the trippy Denver International Airport mural “Children of the World Dream of Peace”).   The journey of this plush angel began with Once Upon A Time, A Hedgehog Took A Plane…

He’s been spotted (!) by a CIA Surveillance drone!  Check him out:

An imaginary analysis of the fading GPS-tracker of this stuffed animal, analyzed by the National Security Agency (NSA), determined that this photo was most likely taken in June 2012, somewhere on the shores of Lake Shasta in Northern California. Almost a half year since the last message from Hedgehog, I wondered if I would ever find out what happened.  He was supposed to be on his way to some kind of “Annual Animal Gathering 2012.

Hedgehog, spotted by an Owl Surveillance Camera Operator, ran off into a vast wilderness in the middle of the night, leaving Elephant, Giraffe and Zebra behind. Motive unknown.

Rumor has it, thát might have been just a cover for something entirely different!  At this point it isn’t clear yet what.  Various speculations are emerging.

In trying to piece together his whereabouts, the earliest report came from a pair of Owls, who saw him run off into the woods in the middle of the night.  That was at the beginning of July (2012).

According to a dependable source, he told Zebra and Giraffe, “I’m not who you think I am”, and ran off on his hind legs.

Elephant was already asleep and was not available for comments afterwards.   The last successful photo transmission occurred in mid-August (but there was no caption.  I waited, but no follow-up ever came.)

In that last official image (below), Hedgehog is seen in an Madrone tree (likely already in Northern California or Southern Oregon), navigating his way through the forest:

Then, at the end of August, another low-altitude Surveillance Drone snapped this UV image:

I would like to thank ‘The Network‘ for providing me with the latest on Hedgehog’s whereabouts.  Word on street is that he is alive and well, cruising around somewhere on the West Coast of North America, but 3 independent theories have emerged on what’s really going on, two of which claim he’s somewhere entirely different.

When I get more information on those theories, I’ll elaborate in ‘Hedgehog’s Three Possible Whereabouts  – Part 5/5’.    Don’t stay too tuned.  If this past half year was any indication, it could take awhile…
