A Temporary Tent Settlement in the Forest

     Nov 3, 2012 – Northern California (USA).

May all beings on the Earthwithout exception
enjoy peacehappiness and complete prosperity.

Greetings.  I thought, ‘Perhaps some people would also enjoy these photos taken in the past couple weeks,’ so here are a few.  Starting off with my home, a simple tent with a tarp to keep the entrance mud-free, in a National Forest:

Most of the forest is a recovering clearcut, with some sparse residual old growth trees.  Views are rare, but the spot shown above is on the edge of a drop-off and comes with this fantastic view:

Autumn has arrived.  The low clouds bring rains, mountain mist and even snow to higher elevations.  A couple impressions from this past week:

Coming soon:  using the previous blogpost’s information sources, I’ll see what I can find for this part of far-northern coastal California’s radiation & fallout situation.
