Storm’s total snowfall in Boulder reaches 22.7 inches, a new February record.

Undoubtedly in response to my little “hurray I’m back!” arrival snow dance… the storm  began pretty much as soon as the car was unloaded before dinner, and lasted till this morning.  It dumped a total of 22.7 inches of snow (aka 57.6 centimeters) on Boulder, smashing the previous local February record of 16.5 inches, set in 1968.   (Boulder weather record keeping began in 1882.)  The view from our living room’s awesome now; zoomed-in, the Flatirons in the distance look beautiful:
