Headed into the Haro Strait in a speedboat. Woohoo! First sightings were Porpoise, the smallest and fastest of the cetaceans. Some jumped right in front of us up close, splashing and going under the boat. Yeehaa! So cool. Didn’t get photos of some of the best sightings as they happened so fast and out of the blue (literally). But here are some snapshots of a most lovely day with Porpoise, Orcas (aka Killer Whales, but technically the largest of the dolphin family), seals, eagles, herons,… in tranquil Puget Sound waters. Back just in time before the rain. All smiles.
