Hot Springs & Idaho Scenic Byway 34.

The Blue Moon Bar & Grill still proves to be an excellent watering hole.  Talked late into the night with a cool interesting guy from Alaska about too many things to mention. Then after a night camping by the river at the bottom of Main Street, I went for a relaxing soak and well-needed massage at the lovely pools at the top of Main in Lava Hot Spings, Idaho.  I suppose if you had been closely watching these webcams, you would have seen me enjoying these pools:  http://www.lavahotsprings.com/webcam.htm

.  Except for the crazy-looking fire-spewing Monsanto plant somewhere smack in the middle of paradise along the way, the Idaho Scenic Byway 34 is gorgeous… with almost no traffic.  ;-)  Rolling hills, lakes, cow pastures and sagebrush vistas…
